The engineers are the monsters of the future and the future of the franchise, what is incredibly ironic, because they probably are the most ancient beings in the Alien Universe. The Neomorph and the Deacon are great monsters (i would love to see again the Trilobite, not the fossil as it´s shown on the picture below). They all deserve at least a second appearance on the big screen . As for David, i would love to see his end, even if they do it in a flashback of a few minutes, or showing him eviscerated by his own creations, i only want to see an end. David being terminated by a Xenomorph is the ideal end, at least, for me. I don´t need to watch a reconnection to the Alien 1979 movie.
I don't know why, but I like the title (if that's the title). Hopefully it'll be as little tied to the old things as possible, so it'll be able to do its own thing. They have an opportunity to add some new stuff here.
I came back to life for this? Hm.
I got the Godzilla criterion collection,
the new official Godzilla guide,
the Godzilla mad libs,
a little mini monsterverse goji which i lost immediately,
the 2009 ultra man the complete original series dvd set,
and the Godzilla vs. the mighty morphin power rangers graphic novel.
(i might also get the gigabash Godzilla dlc)
i give this Christmas an 8/10.
I’m gonna go back to being dead again.
The only Godzilla related item I got this year was a copy of the Godzilla vs Kong artbook.

I also got a pretty cool statue of a Kraken/Giant Octopus attacking a ship, which technically could count as a kaiju/giant monster related item.

but i don't think so that counts
nice, last year on christmas i got a GvK Godzilla
I wouldn't want that to happen anyways, After my other break still no updates.
It's pretty interesting, I've never seen a Velociraptor with black skin near its jaw. Not Bad by the way
I'm looking forward to see more Alien RPG content, I've been preparing for a two years to start up my campaign. Mostly out of procrastination, I have an idea for a story I just I need some more sci-fi themed maps. I have been borrowing some from Star Finder since generic sci-fi maps are rare; at least on Fantasy Grounds
so excited, i am looking forward a 2024 to be a Alien year
New Alien Canon for the Alien franchise.

Andrew Gaska Q & A:
Ridley Scott has never indicated that the existing "Blade Runner" books would be used to do "Blade Runner 2" but I always thought the 1995 book titled "Blade Runner 2: The Edge of Human" would be a good starting point. The rear dust cover of this book includes a photo of author K. W. Jeter with Philip K Dick in Dick's office while hinting at a pre-death collaboration. Could this cover story be just a marketing ploy for the book? (maybe) I have just re-read BR2 book and have published information in two sections (spoilers and non-spoilers) which you can read here: http://neilrieck/links/blade_runner.html#br2eoh Enjoy!
This is What happened when Engineers decided to play God: the possibility of the existence of a Xenomorph was born.
When Peter Weyland decided to play God, David happened.
The end of the ONE's blood represented the end of the expansion of new life across the Universe.
The black goo is a bad copy of the ONE's blood, the primordial engineer, the finite source of generating new life on the universe. Life on earth was created from the Last drops of the ONE's blood, as we all watched at the beginning of the film "Prometheus", after an engineer, chosen by the engineer's council, drunk the ONE's blood That the engineer priest Gave to him.
Trailer of the game Alien RPG:
David and Walter were raised by Peter Weyland. David killed Walter and founded the city of Origae-6.

The beginning of principal photography of Alien: Romulus for February 6, 2023. This means that in the next couple of months we’re bound to see some news pop up that can provide further information about this apparent change in gears.
The main location – or at least the first one – for the series is going to be in Budapest, Hungary. So naturally, all geek eyes will be turned to the European city in the first week of February.

@Hydra I wouldn't recommend doing that.
Consider this a little warning.
Kaiju1234 that would be perfect, do you think we could replace kong with minilla
they are just doing it for Xp, just like Kaiju1234 spams random topic 24/7
did he make it by himself/herself, if you did then noice
Raised by Wolves: the Romulus theory.
What does it mean "Rome" for David?
Raised by Wolves season 2 ending explained, by a fan of Prometheus.
Turning Davids INTO Walters.
This new topic and the video from the link above are a great homage to the excellent prequels of the Alien 1979 movie. The YouTube video is an excellent retrospective of the Alien Covenant 2017 movie. Five years have passed and i think the love for the movie has increased in the fandom.
@Raiken Sigma, Welcome to the forums!
To build off your comment I agree I'm a bit hesitant to be optimistic regarding the Cailee Spaeny casting since her performance in Pacific Rim: Uprising didn't do anything for me - however I was skeptical of Katherine Waterston's casting in Alien: Covenant and she ended up delivering a solid performance.
As for the female lead topic in general, it's an iconic Alien trend and I think the connection between the female lead and the Alien essence go hand-in-hand more intimately than a male character would, imo. The undertones of creationism and evolution are mirrored by a woman's unique and exclusive ability to create and support life. The maternal instincts to protect her crew / loved ones are more prevalent in female characteristics as well rather than male ones - which tend to take a more sigma approach in many leadership roles. Furthermore the Alien can't be beat by brute force, its always needed to be outsmarted and in many cases females have a cunning edge in survival situations whereas men (I being one) tend to rely on force to overcome an adversary - perhaps I'm generalizing and biased in my assumptions but that's a few reasons why I think the female lead works so well with Alien specifically.
The downside with continuing the female lead trend in Alien is each one will always be compared to Sigourney Weaver's Ripley and so far, none of them have measured up to the badassery Sigourney brought to the character and the role. So, I guess it's a double edged sword, on one hand the female lead is an iconic trend of the franchise and lends more suspense to the plot but the legacy of Ripley we expect them to live up to is a high bar to reach.
Either way, I'm intrigued and happy to see another Alien movie in production.
No idea. I'm having a break until the 26th so some time after that. It's Yangchuanosaurus vs Yutyrannus.
hey never got a white Blonde or a white Redhead protagonist yet.
Gotta say this working title is kinda funny, reminds me of the working title for The Force Awakens - "Blue Harvest". I've not seen this Fede Alvarez films, but i'm hearing he's quite talented in the horror/suspense area. Gotta say i'm really not liking the main casting choice of Callie Spaney, yet another White Brunette as lead of a ALIEN film, boring.
Can't we have a guy for once? Or if it has to be a Woman still, they could atleast make it interesting and casting someone ethnic. We don't get many Asian women cast in especially sci fi movies. If it were me i'd have cast the Indian woman from the ANDOR series, i liked her.
In all honesty i'm none too interested in this new ALIEN Film Reboot, imo rebooting ALIEN is sacrilidge, especially when we still havnt had the main canon universe completed yet, through a proper connection of Ridley's prequels to his O.G. Alien Film of 79.
Another thing i keep thinking is, what other totally original design can you do for a whole NEW "Xeno/Alien"?? The Deacon and Neomorph from Prometheus and Covenant were outstanding designs, felt very kind of primitive.
I don't know what to think of this, what if it ends up like Terminator Dark Fate!? Or the Recent Resident Evil tv series on Netflix; where it's like mostly unrecognizable to ALIEN.
