WHAT ARE VENOM SYMBIOTES?
WHAT ARE VENOM SYMBIOTES?The Klyntar (colloquial: Symbiotes) are a fictional species of extraterrestrial symbiotes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with Spider-Man. The symbiotes form a symbiotic bond with their hosts, through which a single entity is created. They also are able to slightly alter their hosts’ personalities, and/or memories by influencing their darkest desires and wants, along with amplifying their physical and emotional traits and personality, granting them super-human abilities. There are more than 40 known symbiotes in the Marvel Universe.
The first and most well-known symbiote is Venom, who originally attached itself to Spider-Man during the 1985 Secret Wars miniseries. After Spider-Man rejected it upon discovering its true evil nature, the symbiote bonded with his rival, Eddie Brock, with whom it first became Venom. The character has since endured as one of Spider-Man’s archenemies, though he has also been occasionally depicted as an antihero. Other characters have later merged with the Venom symbiote, including the villain Mac Gargan, and Flash Thompson, who became the superhero Agent Venom. Other well-known symbiotes are Carnage, an offspring of Venom who, when merged with its most infamous host, Cletus Kasady, has served as an enemy of both Spider-Man and Venom; and Anti-Venom, which originated when the Venom symbiote re-merged with Brock after a long split, gaining a new white appearance and additional powers as a result of Martin Li using his powers on Brock to cure his cancer.
Since their conception, the symbiotes have appeared in various media adaptations, including films, television series, and video games. Venom has been the most featured one, appearing as the main antagonist of the 2007 film, Spider-Man 3, and the titular protagonist and antihero of the 2018 film, Venom. Carnage is also set to make its cinematic debut in the upcoming film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021).
VENOM
VENOMWe are all familiar with Venom’s powers and abilities. It is a shock to know that venom is one of the weakest among all the symbiotes. Well, we all have seen in the movies that the powers of symbiotes depend on how strong their hosts are. Eddie Brock is the perfect host to handle venom symbiotes, other than Eddie, Peter Parker, Flash Thomson, Mac Gargan was also the host of venom. Although Eddie Brock is the most powerful owner of the symbiote. It’s true he’s a match for the original Wall-Crawler, he isn’t as strong as the other symbiotes who came after him. Eddie has superhuman strength, speed, and stamina. He can adhere to vertical & horizontal surfaces and shoot living “webs” from his hands. Venom’s greatest tool against Spider-Man is his invisibility to his Spider-Sense.
10. RIOT
RIOTThe Riot Symbiote was one of four symbiotes recovered from a comet by a spaceship operated by the Life Foundation. The ship crashed in Malaysia upon re-entry to Earth, and the Riot Symbiote escaped into the population, first bonding with the surviving astronaut, John Jameson, then jumping from host to host while traveling to San Francisco. The Riot Symbiote eventually bonded with Life Foundation CEO Carlton Drake with the goal of bringing more Symbiotes to Earth to bond with Humans and then take over the planet. We have seen Riot and Venom go head to head in the movie ‘Venom”. He was created forcefully with the help of venom spawn. Riot can create any weapons with his hands and due to these abilities, he is the most powerful in his group. Riot history is very different in movies and comics.
9. MANIA
MANIAMania made its first appearance in a 2003 comic (Venom vol.1), We can also call it a clone of Venom because it was created from a single piece of Venom specimen. Mania or Maniac was created to destroy the entire human species from Earth. Mania was not mentally stable, It never made a bond with anyone, If it did he used to kill the person in the end, He first makes the prisoner Eric Moody his host and after some time, Eric Moody succeeds in removing Mania from his body. After Eric, Mania makes his bond with a Mental patient Alphonse Poonia with the help of Poonia he kills his first host, Later he changes his host to another person name Lee Price who has once already made a bond with Mania. He uses Sonic canon and Flam thrower to remove Mania from his body in this process his body gets burned and he ends up permanently merging with Mania. And from then he gets his name Maniac.
8. HYBRID
HYBRIDHybrid who is created with the help of not one, not two but four symbiotes, Which are Riot, Phag, Razer, Agni. One of the symbiotes kills all the hosts of these four symbiotes which causes these four to merge together and become Hybrid. Hybrid has all the powers of these four symbiotes, we can make out how powerful this symbiote is. Talking about the history of the Hybrid at the time they were kept in Washington in a lab. A boy name Scott is hired to guard them who later understands that these symbiotes are not evil and will cause no harm to anyone around them. He later ends up letting them go. Scott later loses his job because of letting the symbiotes free. Later Symbiotes chooses Scott as their new host, which causes him to have four different personalities.
7. CARNAGE
Carnage is the most famous Venom villain. Created with the help of Venom specimen, Carnage accidentally gets mixed with the blood of Cletus Kasady who is a psychopath killer, As we all know symbiote’s personality totally depends on the host. Later, Venom and Spider-Man had to team up to stop Carnage. During this time it was revealed that the symbiote had become a part of Kasady’s blood and was irremovable from him. Kasady only needed to be cut for the symbiote to flood out to become Carnage once again. Unlike Venom, Carnage had become less vulnerable to the high-pitched sounds which would normally stop Venom, however, he was still vulnerable to intense heat. Now let’s see what Carnage has to offer in ‘VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE’. Talking about the abilities and powers of Carnage:

6. SCORN
SCORNScorn was created with the help of Carnage spawn. Scorn is basically a mixture of symbiote and technology. The Scorn symbiote was presumably affected by the awakening of the dark elder god Knull, who had created the symbiotes and attempted to use them to conquer the universe and purge it of life.
The symbiote and its host became the leader of an apocalyptic cult worshipping of Knull and dedicated to freeing him from his prison and to this end retrieved the corpse of Cletus Kasady, who the cult viewed as Knull’s prophet.
