MemberGiganMay-30-2019 8:55 PMWelcome back to the second to last episode of Debate Week's return to form season. As we approach the opening day of Godzilla 2, there will not be an episode tomorrow and the finale will be on Saturday. For now, a quadrupedal rumble. All opponents will be scaled up to an equal height of 50 meters for this bout.
----------------------
Height: 100 Meters
Weight: 30,000 M-tons
Description:
One of Godzilla's most iconic foes, and sometimes allies, as-well as the first opponent Godzilla ever fought--Anguirus is an icon. A tank in his own right, he has persevered through a clamp from King Ghidorah, wrestled and gone toe-to-toe with Godzilla, has been dropped from great heights and stomped on, yet still has gotten back up to do battle. He's had his face cut open, and his bony shell can withstand Showa Godzilla's atomic breath. Durability is one of Anguirus standout traits, along with his remarkable affinity for burrowing. His bite has drawn the blood of King Ghidorah, and his tails and claw slam combos are a threat to any opponent. Anguirus is widely known for his back launch, where he impales opponent's with the spikes of his shell. His roars are capable of crumbling constructs to dust with their ultrasonic capacity; Anguirus is an underdog, but he is one with all the capability to steal a fight from the supposed victor.
Vs.
Height: 30 Meters
Weight: 10,000 M-tons
Description:
The Fierce King of the Underground is a lesser-known Godzilla monster who has had his fair-share of battles in Debate Week, and is back again to show what he's made of. Baragon is a master of subterranean movement and combat, tripping up GMK's Godzilla briefly in their short-lived fight. He is able to vanish beneath the Earth's surface in near seconds, and utilize what lies beneath to cave the ground in beneath his opponents--and disorient them. He is also an avid jumper with surprising agility, clamping onto GMK Godzilla's arm and briefly catching the King off his guard. What he lacks in durability, being massacred by GMK's Godzilla later on, he makes up for in stealth combat--and physical capabilities.

Reminder, the season finale will be on Saturday. I hope everyone has enjoyed this episode, and here's to 5 years of waiting coming to an end as Godzilla 2 releases tomorrow!
Good grief.

MemberRodanMay-30-2019 8:58 PMMmmm...
I'd say Anguirus, but after a long, long fight.
Zwei Wing is the best singing duo. Change my mind.

MemberRodanMay-30-2019 10:00 PMI think Anguirus, but it'd take him a while to figure out Baragon's tricks.
If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-31-2019 9:41 AMAnguirus would kick Baragon's butt. Baragon's cool enough, but Anguirus is one of the greats. Also Millenium Baragon gets beat real easy.
