MemberTrilobiteAug-25-2017 1:01 AMIt is pretty common for video games to have three or four different endings depending on choices and actions made during the game- gives some good replay value too.
How about this-
Apply that principal to a movie. At key points, you choose whether someone opens a door or moves on, affecting how things play out later. This would of course require the movie crew to film every conceivable scene- but it could could make for some interesting viewing experiences for the audience. If I have thought of it, someone has probably done it.
What do you think?

Something Real
MemberTrilobiteAug-25-2017 1:05 AMDK - As much as I would like that, I would also be displeased by it. We must have lines upon which we see our films - so that we are inspired to write and create what we want in future presentations. :)

MemberTrilobiteAug-25-2017 1:09 AMGood point. I think it works well for games but for movies, it might dilute the writers' vision.....unless they specifically write for that purpose.

MemberTrilobiteAug-25-2017 1:11 AMDK - Quite so! However, your notion is not without its merits! It is quite compelling. :)

MemberTrilobiteAug-25-2017 1:25 AMIt would be an ambitious project. I would imagine it done on an indie level first. There would also be the challenges of having it be stream-able with almost no latency.

Something Real
MemberTrilobiteAug-25-2017 1:26 AMDK - That would likely be a programming nightmare! :)

MemberChestbursterAug-25-2017 3:30 AMDidn't they try something like that on DVD can't remember the theme though. Great idea really. Like playing dragons lair in the 80s that was a game trying to be a cartoon. U could have it in film. I still thinks it comes under gaming some what? Get the Commodore 64 out anyways bubble bobble or way of the exploding fist? I'm in
