Xenomorph Types

Xenomorph types featured in my story (don't know when it'll be but it's never too early to make a topic):

 

Drone

 

Height: 8 feet

Length: 14-15 feet

Weight: 350 lbs

Additional notes: Found in hives. Guard queen and eggs. Stealthier than other Xenomorphs and attack by surprise, usually from the back or side.

 

Runner

Height: 4.5-5 feet on all fours; 7-7.5 feet on hind legs

Length: Unknown

Weight: 200-320 lbs

Additional notes: Rarer than other types. Born from quadrupedal hosts. Weaker than Drones and Warriors, but much faster and more agile. Uses stealth and speed to its advantage.

 

Warrior

Height: 8 feet

Length: 14-16 feet

Weight: 375 lbs

Additional notes: What Drones become when they get older. Most common Xenomorph type. Significantly more aggressive than Drones and Runners. Usually found on the offensive if hive is approached.

 

Predalien

Height: 9 feet

Length: Unknown

Weight: 550-600 pounds

Additional notes: Xenomorph spawned from Yautja. Rarest type of Xenomorph, but also one of the most dangerous. Usually serve the same purpose of Warriors.

 

Spitter

Height: 7 feet

Length: 13-15 feet

Weight: Unknown

Additional notes: Not much is known about the Spitter, as it is the third rarest Xenomorph type. Its preferred attack is to hide behind structures or other Xenomorphs and spit acid at its prey. Its skills in hand-to-hand combat are not to be underestimated. Presumed to serve the same purpose as Drones.

 

Crusher

Height: Unknown

Length: Unknown

Weight: Unknown

Additional notes: Xenomorph type the least is known about. Some argue it's rarer than the Predalien. Presumed to be Runners that became Praetorians. The tank of Xenomorph hives, they use their brute strength to charge and ram into things.

 

Praetorian

Height: 10-12 feet

Length: Unknown

Weight: Unknown

Additional notes: Difficult to study, as they are larger and stronger than other Xenomorphs. Guard hives and are the first on the offensive if hive is attacked. Can summon subordinate Xenomorphs into battle. 

 

Queen

Height: 15-20 feet

Length: Unknown

Weight: Unknown

Additional notes: Leader of a Xenomorph hive. Lays eggs via a large, 30-40 foot long egg sac, rendering her immobile. Extremely intelligent. Able to detach from egg sac if needed, although process is extremely painful.
