The Derelicts egg silo mystery solved?

For nearly forty years fans of the Alien franchise have argued and debated over whether or not the thousands of alien eggs discovered by Kane (the late John Hurt) were stored in a lower part of the derelict alien spacecraft or within a separate structure. The answer it seems has been revealed in Alien Covenant, but not many will have noticed the clues.

In Prometheus geologist Fifield's "pups" gave fans a clear and undeniable layout to the Juggernauts interior design. Pictured below, and identified as "A" is the Juggernauts central chamber, where David discovers a ghost recording of the Engineers showing that they had intended to target Earth with their deadly pathogen.

Interestingly you will notice, as others have already pointed out that the floor of the central chamber runs close to the bottom of the ship, meaning that there is nothing beneath this chamber. Yet towards the climax of Prometheus we see the iconic chair rise out from beneath the central chamber - something which should be physically impossible.

In Alien Covenant we are shown a flashback sequence in which the Juggernaut piloted by David docks above an Engineer city before David unleashes the deadly pathogen on the cheering Engineers below. This is the same area of the vessel upon which the Covenant crew enter the Juggernaut upon discovering it. Of interest, however, is that the Covenant crew ascend throughout the vessel to reach the central chamber, which as we have already shown is the sole chamber in the center of the vessel. How can the Covenant crew enter the Juggernaut through a room that does not physically exist?

The Answer is surprisingly right under one's nose, and one could argue has been there all along. To create the notorious "egg silo" in 1979's Alien the crew removed the central platform and the infamous Space Jockey and in their place arranged a multitude of egg props, with a laser borrowed from British rock band The Who to create the mysterious protective layer. the key element to remember is that the walls of the Derelicts central chamber and the Egg Silo are the same, in much the same way that the Juggernauts Urn bombing room and its central chamber are the same - they are the same room.

Here comes the catch, however, while the egg silo in Alien is the same room we see the space Jockey in they do not co-exist in the same physical plane. Whomsoever built/grew the Juggernauts (hint - it wasn't the Engineers) is able to manipulate multiple spatial dimensions (those alluded to in string theory), which allows them to store three times (or more) interior space into the Juggernauts than would physically seem possible.

More brain numbing is the answer to the egg silo mystery - it is not part of the derelict Juggernaut. While using multiple spatial dimensions allows the Juggernaut to have three or more almost identical rooms, the chamber in which Kane was lowered into was much deeper and much wider than the derelicts central chamber. The derelicts lowest such "instance" of the central chamber, therefore, can only physically make up the upper portions of the "egg silo", meaning that the floor of the silo would physically be beneath the derelict Juggernaut. Think of the hole in the Space Jockey platform as a portal with the corresponding portal in the lower "instance" of the room" being the ceiling of the egg silo, which is physically beneath the Juggernaut, under the ground. It is only through the spatial manipulation technology of the Juggernaut that the egg silo can be accessed.

While I am sure that there may be some of you that disagree with this solution, I believe many of us will agree that this is, as of yet, the most viable answer to the mystery of the egg silo. It does pose another question though - if the eggs are stored beneath the surface of LV-426 where the derelict Juggernaut landed, are their other examples of the deadly "morph-pathogen" elsewhere on the moon such as Urns, Spores or something we have not yet seen?

I like the idea. :) Who build it then, some with a long snout and four legs? No pun intended. ;)

Eine Theorie die nicht auf Etwas solidem basiert ist für gewöhnlich nur Geschwätz.

Yes. Cool idea. I really hope they return to the strangeness of truly alien technology.

Cool theory, but I think it is far from the most viable answer.  In fact, I think it actually makes the whole thing a lot more complicated than it needs to be.  The derelict does not necessarily have to be exactly like the Juggernaut.  It could have another chamber beneath the central chamber.  Then there would be no need for the spatial manipulation.

The LV-426 Juggernaut, the LV-223 Juggernaut and david's Juggernaut may well be three different subtypes of the same class.

The one on LV-426 is more 'U' shaped than the ones seen in Prometheus, thus a different sub-type and possibly with an attached mission-oriented 'bomb bay' module, and as david say 'there are many more', so it's logical there's going to be at least some variety in sub-types.

IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING
