The appreciation is mutual :) I'm really impressed by a lot of the theories, sharp observations, incredible writing enthusiasm and knowledge about the franchise lore from members here, and I really appreciate all the positive energy and jokes while also equally respecting and admiring- with the lack of a better word- "strict" discussions.

Many of you reached out to me, and sent me kind words and encouragement during my recent drama. I greatly appreciated that and it made me realise I can't leave this place, I love it and that's because of you, the members.

What I like about this place is that people try to discuss in a mature way and that they don't point fingers at each-other. People disagree, that's fine but that doesn't mean that they have to act uncivilized. This far I have mostly seen discussions where people try to keep it at an intellectual level and where they don't try to attack the person so that is good. I will probably be here for a long time. We will have AC soon so I am interested to see how people will react to it.

I'm lurking for a few months now, so I thought it was time to 'burst' forward :))

I'll probably repeat what was said before, but you are a great community here, I enjoy very much reading your thoughts, theories and I'm sure we'll see some on the big screen in just a little over a month.

Since I was little I was both fascinated and terrified by the movies, but only in the last few years did I realize the value, art, and other aspects that make the Alien universe so...outstanding. And add to that all the interesting information about it that I found here, thanks to you:) As a result, now I'm a little obsessed:D And keeping an eye on that day count. (Sorry if my English made you frown)

Indeed, this is a fun place - great for theory, speculation, and conversation. 

Definitely the best forum for people who are as interested in Alien as most, if not all, of the people here are.

Since beer tastes gross and I never had a glass of wine, I raise my cup of sweet tea to all my friends (everyone) out there :)

I don't like the taste either, which somehow automatically seem to make me a hostile lifeform in a lot of groups that feel confused and uncomfortable with this very strange and most deviant behaviour of not liking the taste of beer or whine.

Thank you all guys for making this forum such an awesome place! Very cool and brilliant people is over here. It's being a pleasure to share this passion with you all. I'm around here only for months, but already feel part of it thanks to you guys!
