Can't wait for this. I've always been curious about the possibility of undiscovered and colossal marine beasts. Are they supposed to be of extraterrestrial origin or something? These 'jaeger' thingies might be spectacular, but isn't there an overkill of this stuff already (Transformers, Real Steel etc?) - I'm more interested in the beasts and their back-story.

Also Zeta, have you ever heard of The Bloop? It's an underwater sound that scientists can't figure out what is making it, and it's fairly close to the co-ordinates that apparently have been marked as Cthulhu's resting place on Earth................ Google it, kinda creepy.............................

I sure do want some really nasty monsters... just evil and despicable... both in character and how they treat their mums too... just really disturbing individuals you would not even give up a seat for on a bus... staff:Weyland Corp. Monsters Inc. "Size Does Matter." Central Office Tokyo Japan

This is the bloop Cypher was talking about. Pretty freaky. :( Click-->The Bloop: A Mysterious Sound from the Deep Ocean "The Bloop sound was placed as occurring several times off the southern coast of South America and was audible 5,000 kilometers away. Although the sound has similarities to those vocalized by living organisms, not even a blue whale is large enough to croon this loud. The sounds point to the intriguing hypothesis that even larger life forms lurk in the unexplored darkness of Earth's deep oceans. A less imagination-inspiring possibility, however, is that the sounds resulted from some sort of iceberg calving. No further Bloops have been heard since 1997, although other loud and unexplained sounds have been recorded. " Keyword: not even a blue whale is large enough to croon this loud *shudders*

I certainly have heard of the 'Bloop' Cypher and if there's even an inkling of truth in that notion, then, quite frankly, we're f***ed. Just a fart from a truly colossal beast (and I'm thinking factory-sized upwards here) would cause huge, stinking tsunamis of untold fear and destruction, lol. Beans can't be cultivated at those depths can they? No? Thank the Lord!

But seriously, that Bloop thing is chilling.

Monsters. Yeah. Robots and neo future stuff, less the better.
