Neomorph's Human Face

I didn't notice the human face in there until now. Good question. All I know is the original Xeno eyes (or at least sockets) were lower and closer o the mouth.

pretty cool, the carapace covering the eyes and nose. Nice blend of human and...alien whatever, lol.

Never looked at the image that detailed...

Indeed in Spaights Draft the Demon (then so are other creatures in the daft) as it was referred to that came from Holloway was described to have a Ghostly likeness to Holloway

"For one moment Downs’s flashlight beam illuminates the Alien.
A nightmare image, a translucent white goblin. Backlit, it
shows the strange shape of a human face inside its fleshy
skull. A mockery of Holloway.

And then it’s gone."

Will we see a likeness in the Neomorph? I am thinking we wont, and the same applies to the Xenomorph too.

That is amazing! They did say that the new creatures will be translucent. I never understood the original xeno in Alien. It was translucent will skull sockets. But you never saw that in the movie. I could never figure out why that was.

As BD points out, could this artwork have been made for the original script (Spaihts')? I hope the neomorph will look something like this. It's really creepy. :)

And the eyes are closed, I think. Man trapped in the Alien...

Indeed we have to remember that there was many many different kinds of concepts for Spaights and Lindeloffs work, and also that concept work was mainly carried out and worked on and even Props done by the time Lindeloff was brought on the Project.

Prometheus and Lindeloff had 3 X Monsters. (different types)

1) Hammerpede (came from Worms) but also a different looking more Eel/Centipede no legs Organism that was removed (Our first Alien deleted Scene).

2) Fifield Mutant where there was Two versions (more in concept).

3) Deacon vis Shaws C-Section and Trilobite Face Hugger (few different designs)

Spaights draft is more ambiguous... it has depending on situation and interpretation...  then we have 4-5 Monsters. (different types)

1) Hammerpede Centipede like Organisms (few different concepts)

2) Holloways Chest Buster that evolved to slightly different Adult Form (number different concepts for these stages). He was infected with a more Octopus like Face Hugger

Call this Face Hugger 1

3) Shaws (Watts) C-Section Chest Buster that grows to Adult, this was from a more armored and maybe Face Hugger type Organism.

Call this Face Hugger 2

4) Ravel and Chance Chest Busted Xenomorphs, described as Xenomorphs and from Armoured Face Huggers, made reference to similar to the one infected Watts (Shaw).

Open to debate if this was a Face Hugger 2 or a slightly different one and Hence Face Hugger 3

5) The Ultramorph, born from a already infected Engineer and described close to a Xenomorph.

Question is from Face Hugger 2 or 3 or another one?

I do think however they could re-use unused concepts from Prometheus and even ideas from Spaights draft, or any of the work between Spaights and Lindeloffs....  they even could touch upon unused ideas from any previous movies in the Franchise..

Or even Star Beast...

It will be interesting to see.

I would think this however is as close as we going to get to the Neomorph.
