Hello citizens of the Empire,

As I'm sure you all know from reading USE's New Senate and Political Parties that we are having a host of elections coming up through this year and the next. Our first election, will be to elect the first ever Universal Scified Empire Senator. The election will be held on Dec 15 via a strawpoll. Our current only running candidate is Ultrazero, for the Sorite party. There is no candidate currently for the Imperite party; if you wish, you can still vote for that party.

If that party were to win even though there is no candidate, the Imperite System would win the election--and the inauguration of the senator would be held up until we find a fitting pick. I'm sure most of you have noticed the topics by Ultrazero. Those are rallies--to build hype amongst your community, to prepare for the election.

If we do get an Imperite candidate, the election will be delayed until Dec 20 for him to have time to rally and prepare. But, for now, the election is Dec 15th and make sure to vote on the strawpoll. Polls close at 7 ET and votes will be counted, and the winner will be announced either later in the day or early the next day.
