Part 7: The End
The Allosaurus Difference continued walking through the plains. He felt happiness in himself at helping fight Nequit Dominum. Difference finally made it to his destination, the holy grounds, a place where herbivores are flourishing despite the extinction and beautiful hunting grounds have been spared from the worst of the meteor’s wrath. Difference walked to the top of a mountain, he lied down, and fell asleep- he finally achieved peace, and had survived.
The Deinonychus Claw also reached the holy grounds. He carried his egg to a small cave and made a nest; much to his surprise however, his egg began to hatch, and Claw could only watch as another challenge was set out for him. One to the other, that’s how it works in this cruel prehistoric world.
Claw went to a nearby pond, and using his lightning reflexes grabbed two fish. One he ate whole and the other he carried to his hatchling, he had won, and also had survived.
Earth and his pack of three continued down the plains, he watched as a Tyrannosaurus Rex fell down right in the middle of the plains, he presumed this was the one who was fighting Nequit- his death was honorable, but Earth was more concerned with his packs safety, and continued their journey. Earth finally found a ground he deemed suitable, a rich open plains, filled with alamosaurus and edmontosaurus, he ordered his pack to rest by a sheltered tree, they also had survived.
Finally, Tyrance, the Alpha Tyrannosaurus Rex, lies apparently lifeless on the open plains. The hour was six-thirty in the morning, yet it was still dark. The morning sunrise was mostly obscured by the debris, however, shards of light pierced the darkened skies and awakened Tyrance from his coma. He breathed in and out one time, and alas, his massive softball sized eyes opened.
Tyrance stared at a sight he had forgotten, the morning sunrise. It was beautiful yet mysterious. Tyrance took this as a sign to not suc***b to his wounds, and instead, he clambered to his feet and stared at the sun. Riddled with wounds, Tyrance didn’t look like himself, but deep within, his will had not been broken. He felt as if he saw members of his pack moving against the background of the sun. They bellowed at him. He nodded at the images in satisfaction as he had avenged their deaths. He slowly turned away from the mirage, and made his way towards the holy lands.
Tyrance stumbled and nearly fell down again on the plains, yet he didn’t give up. He pressed forward walking, though it was immensely painful to do so. Tyrance limped and limped more, but pressed on, until he finally made it to the holy lands.
Battered, beaten, bloodied, and diminished, he walked to the top of a hill. He looked over the beautiful land below. He saw a waterfall, beautiful rich plains filled with anatotitan and alamosaurus, towering snow-capped mountains, streaming rivers, clusters of conifers, all accompanied by the blazing morning sunrise.
Tyrance attempted to bellow, but the pain was too great and he could only get a little out. Tyrance lifted his head up, and in the sun he saw not only his pack members, but Egypt too. They all turned around and walked back, disappearing into the sun, finally at peace. Tyrance had avenged them. The absolute Tyrant King let out one final kingly bellow, asserting his position as the Alpha of this land. Tyrance had survived.

Aftermath: 65 million years later
Tyrance was not forgotten. Expert paleontologist Barnum Brown successfully un-earthed Tyrance’s skeleton, this shows that he didn’t die in the holy grounds, he was able to move somewhere else. Not only was Tyrance found, Claw the Deinonychus, and Difference the Allosaurus were both found and now reside at the New York Museum of Natural History. Egypt’s skeleton was presumed to be crushed underneath the giant cliffside, along with Nequit Dominum. Both are lost to time, Nequit Dominum especially. What a tragic demise, such a powerful creature, resorted to such violence; defeated by the same two species that birthed him, turns out the only thing that could stop him was a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Spinosaurus- what an irony if I do say so myself.
Awesome ending! When you said Tyrance had saw the sun for a minute there I thought he was in heaven. Before I saw the aftermath I was going to make the joke that since you make this story we'll see dinosaurs in a few hours xD. Also in the aftermath was it true that their skeletons were in museums or was that just for the story? I can't wait to see what you'll come up with next :D.
^There actually are skeletons of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, Deinonychus, and a Allosaurus at the museum of Natural History in New York. So glad you enjoyed it!
This is a very nice ending GorillaGodzilla, I'm happy for such a nice ending. I was reminded of Moses looking over the Holy Land at the end of the Exodus story when Tyrance went up the hill. Doesn't matter if you believe in the Bible or not, but when you picture a scene like that, especially seeing it movies like The Ten Commandments (both the 1956 and the 2007 versions, it is really pleasing to see.
^I'm extremely glad you're happy with the ending! I attempted to make the story very poetic in certain parts, I'm so glad it was able to give you nostalgia of those films!
- GORILLAGODZILLA - What an absolutely spectacular ending! I greatly enjoyed the ending sequence and the epilogue! FaFantastic work! Thank you ever so much for having created this for our enjoyment! :)
Words can't express how happy I am that my story has been so well recieved thank you guys. I don't know haha, I might have to do a sequel if that's possible.
This is the best Fan-fic by far that i have read in a long time. All I need from you now is a Godzilla Fan-fic ????
Cool finale! Was beautifu and you made Tyance a very cool character. You did kill off the protaginist in a cool and respectful way. If/wehn you make another story, looking forward.
