Awesome one suggested to me, this fight wouldn't of happened without  Eustreptospondylus and RexFan.

Tarascosaurus

 Ampelosaurus and Tarascosaurus

Length: 10 m

Height: 3.25 m

Weight: 2 tons

Era: Late Cretaceous

Tarascosaurus is one of the apex predators of isla Sorna. They prefer small sauropods, but if they are few and far between, will settle for ornithopods. Tarascosaurus constantly fights for food resources with Afrovenator, and the two species have developed a hatred for each other. Tarascosaurus is a chocolate brown color, with silver stripes on the legs and neck.

Afrovenator

 Afrovenator. by Frank-Lode

Length: 9.5 m

Height: 4 m

Weight: 1.5 tons

Era: mid Jurassic

Afrovenator is a secondary predator to small sauropods, the top of that list being Tarascosaurus. These large megalosaurids will attack Tarascosaurus at any oppurtunity, even if they are largely outnumbered. Afrovenator is found on Isla Nublar as well, but they don't seem to fight the abelisaurids there. They stick to themselves on nublar, picking off anything that is small enough for them to kill. Afrovenator is White with red vertical stripes down both sides of the body.

FIGHT!

A lone bull tarascosaurus wanders the deep jungles of Isla Sorna. He has just reached adulthood, and is looking to start a pack of his own. Having no luck with his search today, he wanders the forest in boredom. He walks along a narrow stream, hoping it will lead to something more worth his time. The stream leads out onto a small prairie, and more forest one hundred yards away.

He walks out of the protection of the trees into the glaring noon sun. The abelisaur squints at the sudden burst of bright light, and sees the sihlouette of a few massive animals. The animals come into focus and are revealed to be Paralititan. There are 3 old adults and a few youngsters. The Tarascosaur decides he's hungry. With suprising speed, he runs at a young Titanosaur and lands a crushing blow to it's neck. Before the adults notice what was going on, The abelisaur dragged his kill to the protection of the trees.

He starts to feed when he feels the ground begin to shake. The abelisaur looks up to see the all to familiar shape of an afrovenator. With no warning whatsoever, the Megalosaur goes on the attack. He rushes forward intent on a killing bite to the back of the neck, but the abelisaur is fast. He steps to the side, and the enormous megalosaur rushed by without a clue.

He turned to face the Afrovenator, and let out a loud guttural roar. The Afrovenator snarled, and slowly walked towards his rival. He ran at the Tarascosaurus and tried to bite the dimunitive arm. The abelisaur wouldn't have this, and slammed his head down on top of his adversary. The two rivals stood and gave a mutual icy stare.

The Megalosaur took a few slow steps back, and the Tarascosaur capitalized. He ran at the retreating Afrovenator and bit him in the chest. The Afrovenator squealed in agony and struck the Tarascosaurus with his sharp claws. Undeterred, the Tarascosaurus kept his attack up. With his grip on the megalosaurs' chest, he ran forward and toppled the Afrovenator over. The abelisaur went for the throat. Quite alarmed by his adversaries strength, the Afrovenator struggled to keep the massive jaws off his throat. He swung his arms in a mad fury, and the abelisaur backed off.

The Tarascosaurus backed off, his snout now a bloody mess. The afrovenator got to his feet, and the two stood and stared, waiting for an attack. The afrovenator stomped his feet and bared his teeth, and the Tarascosaurus snarled deeply. The megalosaur was the first to attack. He attempted to knock the stocky abelisaur to the ground, but it stood firm. Instead, they engaged in a bizarre shoving match. The heavier Tarascosaurus easily outgunned his opponent, once again knocking it to the ground.

As the afrovenator tried to get to his feet, the abelisaur bit down on the back of his neck. The megalosaur swung his body into th Tarscosaurus, making the Abelisaur loose his grip. The Afrovenator swung his massive hand claws and connected with the shoulder of the abelisaur, cutting it wide open. Blood spewed from the wound, but this only angered the tarascosaurus. In a blind rage, the tarascosaur charged. The Afrovenator swung his Hand claws again, but missed. Fatal mistake.

The Tarascosaur saw his opening and bit down on the ffront of the Afrovenators' neck. His teeth cut into the flesh as he violently shook his head. The Afrovenator clawed at the head and chest of the abelisaur, but nothing could release this prehistoric bulldogs' grip. He threw the Afrovenator to the ground, but instead of breaking his neck, kept pressure on it. He wanted this long time rival to die a long, painful death. Minutes passed and the Megalosaurs' life slips away. The Abelisaur snorted, and turned to resume eating his titanosaur dinner as if nothing happened.

Winner...Tarascosaurus!

The drive to kill was more in the Abelisaur, and this gave it the edge.

Great fight. I was rooting for Tarascosaurus(my 3rd favorite dinosaur) the whole time.

Certainly an awesome, yet sorely over looked Abelisaur.

Its sad that Carnosaur has stopped making topics or articles.

Is he or she banned?

Is he or she has quit Scified?

Is he or she dead?

Is he or she having a lot of years break?
