Gipsy Danger vs. Cloverfield Monster - Who would win?

ummm I personaly think gipsy because it beat really good monsters and clover even though I love him is not that powerfull

Cloverfield would win because Clovy is just like another Godzilla; however, he lacks the fire breath. I believe Clovy will destroy Gipsy in a battle since tanks and bombs won't do a thing.

I think it is pretty clear the Cloverfield monster would win. Cloverfield's monster was hit with bullets, rockets, and eventually a nuke. It survived all of them. The last-ditch effort of the Jaegers was a nuke. If that is the most devastating attack they have, it would not be enough. The Kaiju defeated multiple Jaegers by ripping them apart. Even just disabling one pilot leaves the Jaegers mostly defenseless, as it was a special case that both Stacker Pentecost and Raleigh were able to do so alone. This is a major weak point. It is possible that even though the Jaegers are airtight, the small parasites that fell from the Cloverfield monster could conceivably get inside and kill the rangers. They are of comparable size, so it really comes down to damage ability versus damage defense. The Cloverfield monster gets hit with a lot more than the Jaegers are ever shown to and survives. The Jaegers, on the other hand, are limited by their mechanics. Also, human error is a factor.

Now, everyone cites Clover being able to withstand conventional weaponry. Let's go through them one by one. In terms of firearms (Human scale weapons against a building scale monster), they would obviously be inferior and generally a bad idea, again through sheer scale, but even tank shells and air-superiority fighter jets wouldn't be able to do much. However, I'm sure Clover is quite durable, even for it's size (for argumentation, lets say 150 odd feet tall). Now to Gipsy Danger. Standing in at 260 or 288 feet, depending on who you ask and basically being a walking nuclear reactor, Gipsy Danger is a Jaeger, designed to grapple with the tidal waves of muscle and bone that are the kaiju. Kaiju, on sheer appearance are much more physically imposing than Clover, and seem to be far more resilient. let's not forget they are also mass produced, and are a hive-mind type of creature. So Gipsy is designed to handle much tougher enemies. From a sheer physicality standpoint, the kinetic impact potential from a rocket assisted punch would severely injure Clover, just due to mismatched scale levels, with Gipsy (again) being much larger than Clover. And in a one on one grapple, Clover's spindly quadrupedal stance would leave it easy pickings for Gipsy to get in a bunch of street-fighting style moves, courtesy Raleigh Becket. That's not even getting into the later-installed polycarbide chain sword (Common misconception is that Gipsy always had the swords, but rather when rebuilt and upgraded, Mako Mori had them installed as a way to honor her father, a sword maker) and then the standard (relatively) short range plasma cannon. Whilst holding Clover at arm's length, even said plasmacaster's painful charging time isn't worth considering, and being able to discharge several thousand degree ionized gas at a range of at least 300 yard, Gipsy is very clearly the victor in this hypothetical fight.

Also worth noting, Clover in the movie is just an infant. No way it's coordinated enough to go for a Jaeger's weakpoint. Any attacks it does would be purely in self defense/feral rage, so I think it's safe to say that a fight between it and Gipsy Danger would be a curbstomp for Gipsy.

I completely agree with FrameOfWar, in which human sized weaponry is what Clover is able to withstand. Gipsy Danger is the product from something from the near future and has taken down many Kaiju bigger than Clover and even himself. The Plasma does although take a while to charge, the sword is overkill enough to most likely take down Clover. Gypsy has also fought against Otachi, basically a bigger Clover, who can walk on regular terrain, swim, and fly, so basically Gypsy I feel like has the upper hand in this showdown in my opinion.

Gipsy would win it has more strategic attacks but it is also bigger and more weapons.

I vote that Gipsy Danger would win. Because he won by height. And he got Plasma Cannons (Also Nuclear vortex) and he can withstand all of Clover's blows and attacks.

But, let Striker Eureka fight Clover! Striker would definately win!

FrameOfWar has an inaccurate size scale, clover actually stands at around 350ft, making it larger than gypsy danger.

I would have to say Gipsy because he has more weapons.

Gipsy Danger practically roasts Clover Just what Raleigh said in the movie before killing Slattern, "Imma burn this son of a bitch!"

Com todo respeito a quem gosta do Clover, Ele não teria a menor chance contra Gipsy, pois ele tem um par de espadas de correntes, um par de canhões de plasma,uma turbina incineradora, propulsores de cotovelo, injetores de refrigeração, vários movimentos incríveis, com o uso de Reguladores de HIPER-TORQUE, e de graça, golpes fantásticos, cortesia de Mako Mori e Raleigh Becket, sem contar que Gypsi foi feito pra aguentar ondas de ataques kaiju, já que os kaiju vão se adaptando para vencer os jaegers, eles foram feitos pra aguentar os maiores e inimagináveis cargas de ataque, e não uma galinha depenada como Clover, sem falar que o mesmo não tem uma origem, ou seja não sabemos do que é capaz, e nem do que ele e "feito".
