MemberNoobNov-26-2013 4:44 PMI found a copy of Warner Brothers vinyl incarnation of the Blade Runner soundtrack performed by The New American Orchestra on Ebay.
I'm very tempted to buy a record player now.
The album cover is still wrapped in factory sellafa...cellipha...is still wrapped in plastic.
The record itself is in very good(if not excellent) condition. It also has a picture of a Christmas tree on both sides of the record to help me get into the yul-tide spirit.

3)One More Kiss,Dear(with piano and synthesizers...sounds interesting)
4)Memories of Green

Admin2KNov-26-2013 5:37 PMOMG I remember The New American Orchestra!!! I had the tape of that version of the soundtrack way back when. I was SOOO thrilled when the proper Vangelis version came out in 1992. Overjoyed.

MemberNoobNov-26-2013 9:20 PMI had that tape too. I only listened to the Blade Runner theme.
The fact that these other album covers arrived with this complete album emotes something in me.
I wish the vinyl came with the other album covers too.
I think the themes have something to do with....well,maybe some undiscovered Blade Runner mythology or secret fan stuff...I can get away with saying that because I got two(2) Tyrell Building panels(so there) ;)
I would so like to listen to "It's Dark On Observatory Hill"
So here it is...in your face...an actual picture of the reverse side of "The Ray Corniff Singers"...whoever they were...and whatever they did..Blade Runner fans will respect them...even though we didn't know what they did or who they were...lets give a big Blade Runner cheer for..."THE RAY CORNIFF SINGERS"!! :)

MemberNoobNov-27-2013 7:56 AMsame for me, for many years this was the only soundtrack to the film because Vangelis wasn't sure his music was good enough to release as a soundtrack. I was so relieved when he did. but as ever you have a collectible piece of history there Djrees

I never understood why Vangelis didn't think his epic soundtrack good enough to release at the time.........I mean it's one of the greatest movie soundracks ever!!
