MemberFacehuggerNov-26-2013 12:56 PMIt seems that we have to wait longer for 'Prometheus 2' then we have expected.
After finishing 'Exodus', Sir Ridley Scott's next work will be a film about the effects of concussions in football players and then there's going to be the 'Wool' film adaption. Another sci-fi project besides 'Prometheus 2', 'Blade Runner 2' and 'The Forever War'. It is already sure that he is going to direct both films.

MemberDeaconNov-26-2013 6:59 PMWell while its possible to shoot and direct numerous movies, i think big budget ones and Sci Fi like Paradise and Blade Runner 2 would no doubt take a long to to produce the sets etc...
Age is not on Ridleys side and i am certain he would want to put the finising touches to two of his most remembered movies and thats Alien and Blade Runner.
And by that i am sure he would want to complete and tell the tale of Prometheus-Alien in his own way and also have full control over Blade Runner Two..
But with his schedule, there is no way he could complete both Prometheus Part 2 and 3 and Blade Runner 2 by the Time he is 80...
And as soon as he is in his 80s surely he may start to take it more easy?

MemberNeomorphNov-27-2013 12:17 PMYes I read about the "football" thing a couple of weeks ago and thought, 'what the hell is he playing at?'
He really should start work on Prometheus 2 instead of producing sh*te that people will Probably watch once and say, "That was ok but i'm not sure I would want to see it again, it was just average!"
Come on Ridley mate, get a grip!
The poster was good though!

MemberFacehuggerNov-27-2013 12:39 PMYer I always think hes spreading himself too thin which is why we are getting muddled results. I know his mental strength is way above average but even a 40 year old would be struggling. Not good news. Unless some amazing director steps in and makes it better!
I saw the counselor it was good - nothing amazing but better than the reviews I must say. Too dark for yhe average watcher I reckon.
I guess he just likes new challenges. But this goes against the idea of having a deep and well thought out prometheus :(

MemberPraetorianNov-27-2013 12:55 PMI doubt Sir Ridley will ever slow down! I just wish he would concentrate on his sci-fi projects for the forseeable future.
Prometheus and Bladerunner sequels, and The Forever War please!!
