My Big Response to THE DEAL

Well this is actually a pretty darn cool idea to me in general, but I don't think they will go queen with deacon. It would be cool to see that idea on the screen especially with a character as strong as David. Haha he is a robot. He has nerves of steel and is always focused on his mission, so for him to be challenged by his "mind" or to actually have the deacon, or any force for that matter, convince him to do something so irrational would be very interesting and show that there are some pretty powerful things and beings in this universe. One more disagreement, I think that the xeno itself is still, basically just a killing machine. Maybe the Deacon is more complicated...I can definitely see that being the case, but I think our beloved original xeno has a pretty simple thought line(which is to keep their breed alive by getting people face hugged or cocooning them)

Thank You for responding Cuponator3000. Yes the idea that the Xenomorph's thought line is to keep their breed alive by impregnating and destroying is correct. Yet I feel that there is a much greater purpose that could be expanded on. And that is that the Deacon wants to eliminate everything in the galaxy so it is the only one standing. This goes back to beloved mythology, which Prometheus seems to be about. In the beginning their were two great titan leaders. One of them was kind, the other was not. Gai who I believe was the good titan god protected her child, Zeus, from being eaten by her husband. The same can be said with this franchise. The Deacon wants to destroy humanity in order to eliminate the threat of death. The problem with this creature's mind set is that, everything dies. Just like Vickers said, "A King has his reign, and then he dies." The same can be said about the Deacon, the god engineers, and Peter Weyland. These three want to hold power over the galaxy forever, however the time has come for them to step down from the mantle and return to God. The Deacon's main purpose is not to die and to try and live forever. I do not see the difference between this creature's motives and that of the original Xenos. (By the way, this all just theories)

What ever came out of the other engineers on LV 223 was not the same as the engineer Shaw fights. If we look back at the Space Jockey in Alien his transmission was most likely heading to LV 223 and he might have been one of the first to be infected. What ever came out of him was different. It dug it's way down and laid those eggs in the caverns that the ship's nano tech made it's self. For what purpose? Terraforming? Perhaps all this isn't an accident but an intentional plan and Engineers willing Kamikaze commandos?

Well this is thanks to the vagueness of the Mural and Ambiguity it causes. Because this organism does look like the Deacon but it is not exactly the same... And the Deacon we see at the end of the movie is not a product of the Engineer DNA, i would assume a Engineer Face Hugged with a Alien Face Huger would produce a Xeno similar to the traditional ones just with more height, speed and power. The Deacon at the end of Prometheus gave carried a lot of Human Traits, remember every infected Organism we see in Alien universe movies has the similar look and appearance and also the same fingers. The new born from Alien 3 does not as it has more Human DNA it is a hybrid and not a Embryo that gestates inside human host that steals traits from its host. The Deacon chest buster likewise does not have the signature Xeno hands, it also has more human jaw, rather than more metal/bio mech look of the Xenos... You see the Deacon is actually more closer to the New Born than a Xeno.... Ok why is the Deacons traits from its human hybrid ancestor the Shaws Baby Squid Trilobite? Simple we do not know where the Xeno Eggs and Traditional Face Huger come from, apart from that a Queen can give birth to said Eggs. Now Shaws Face Huger Hybrid Baby came about because its most likely Holloways Sperm had carried some infection from the Black Goo Holloway had taken, what has occurred is just how the substance mutated the Worms and Fifield, the Mutagen had got to one of Shaws Eggs in a Sperm that fertilized the Egg, what this does is create a Embryo a Human one that has now been contaminated with Xeno DNA. As a Embryo is the basis of most life forms and most life on Earth at Embyro stage looks the same and is near identical, so there is less Base DNA for the Black Goo to recode, and thus we get a more pure lifeform close to what the origins of Goo was. What we ended up with was a kind of cross between a Xeno and Human, more to the point what maybe the Xeno ancester was and Human. Shaws baby performed same function as a Face Huger, but as this Hybrid Squid Face Huger had a lot of DNA at its Face Huger stage then the resulting Embryo implanted would be a Human Hybrid. So what i am saying is its safe to assume if Shaws Baby had infected Shaw instead we would have seen a similar Deacon only smaller in size.

I would further add that all evidence points to that the Xeno was around prior to Prometheus and the Xeno does not arrive from anything from that movie. The Murals even show traditional Xeno Egg being held by traditional Xeno hands. What the connection with Deacon is, i am not sure.... The rest of that Mural shows what appears to be Engineers face hugged by some organism that resembles to a degree the original face huger, yet looks different but looks different to Shaws Baby as well. So chances are it may not be a prophecy of events to occur i.e events of Prometheus... but it could be. The Mural could also depict that some how the xeno was sacrificed to create this new Bio Weapon in the Urns. Or even that some organism is worshiped that both was ancestor to the Xeno and also the basis from which the Substance in the Urns was derived from.
