I'm trying to find out the name of a certain Godzilla-film that I used to watch a lot back in the 80's, and I was hoping that some of you could assist me with your expertise. Here's what I have to go on:
- It is not the original but one of the sequels produced BEFORE 1989
- I seem to remember an opening sequence where the monsters that Godzilla fights travels through outer space (maybe with some kind of narration)
- One sequence has Godzilla fighting another monster, with them standing on each side of a huge japanese palace and wrecking it, while hitting each other.
I've been trying to figure out which movie it is with no luck, so I thought I'd try my luck here. If anyone can answer my question it oughtta be you guys...

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-13-2013 3:43 AMYou may have discribed two differ'nt GODZILLA movies,sounds to me like GODZILLA ON MONSTER ISLAND/GODZILLA VS GIGAN and GODZILLA VS KING KONG.

MemberBaragonAug-13-2013 3:54 PMsounds to me like godzilla vs gigan or even godzilla raids again im with GFAN 84 on this one but it too sounds like two different godzilla movies the only one i can think of that was released before 1989 was the return of godzilla a.k.a. godzilla 1985 i remeber my first godzilla movie i ever watched as a kid and that of course was godzilla vs megalon

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-15-2013 10:36 AMThat sounds like Godzilla vs Gigan. Gigan and King G come from space and there is a scene where they are fighting by Godzilla tower and Zilla and Gigan start trying to out do each other by totalling a building before fighting each other again.
