I don't ever post in forums, HOWEVER...

I saw Pacific Rim tonight. I know too many people who have dismissed it for various reasons, and I was in a theater with one of those "NGE ripoff" idiots, but this is a special film. Enough to make me want to post on amessage board for my first time. Obviously, I'm worried about the box-office. However, I'm confident enough in the quality of the film. Anyone who has some sort of preconceived notion regarding Pacific Rim needs to let go now, and be ready to enjoy a geek film of higher quality than The Avengers and Nolan's Batman Trilogy. I won't post any replies, so don't ask for spoilers, or anything more. Just know that we're getting what we want.
