Nolan and Science Fiction

I was wondering what others thought about this topic because I love Inception and I am wondering if other people think that if he can knock Interstellar out of the park that he could be the next Ridley Scott or James Cameron or Spielberg at one point in his career for Science Fiction films. I hope that he can be the next great Science Fiction director because his view point on film is amazing and his tones are so great. He could be one of the greatest film makers of all time like Scott or Cameron or Spielberg and so many others. Please let me know what other people think. Thanks. - JGeorgeVH

Few people would debate you about Nolan joining the ranks of the great film makers that you mentioned. I will argue that he may surpass them in this genre and as an overall filmmaker due to the fact that he has made two masterpieces (Memento and Inception) and redefined how people look at Batman. His other films are solid as well. He is in his early forties and if his health remain good, he has at least 4 more decades of filmmaking left.

is of the best filmmakers we have today, in his films always adds something from every genre, that's what makes it unique.

I think he is already one of the greatest director all time. His movie are irrespective of budget. Every movie from following(cheapest) to dark knight rises(costliest). He inspire me a lot in my field which far far different from movie making.........
