MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 7:20 PMSorry if this has been mentioned previously but. . . What if, similar to Alien, there is just one SJ in this movie who in this case, could be the last of his kind?? He's pretty much stalking and gathering the Prometheus crew to be experimented on etc, to maybe reproduce his species again, but subsequently accidently creates the Xenomorph species instead?? Don't shout me down, just and idea!
Thoughts??

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 8:26 PMI think that's a distinct possibility. In one of the recently released trailers, one of the Prometheus crew members shines their light on what appears to be a pile of alien corpses. This could imply that the SJ is the survivor of a dying race or that he is a mass murderer who has intentionally tried to exterminate his species for whatever reason the filmmakers come up with.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 9:22 PMI think the tall Alien seen in the trailer will be the SJ that attempts to get back to earth for a re-boot of the planet's lifeforms (remember the SJ in the ship is an alien in a high tech suit). It will crash on LV-???, the planet in the "Alien" movie, which is then found by the crew of the Nostromo. That's how the Company knew where to send the Nostromo and explains the coverup. The company want's the technology of the "transformational material" that can alter life forms into usable "specialized" forms suitable for terraforming or warfare. Also, I believe the Xenomorphs have their Genesis in the conversion or transformation of the crew of the Prometheus....we are the original Alien(s).

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 9:37 PMI believe this is LV-426. The Company sent Nostromo there on purpose and that the Nostromo crew didn't investigate the derelict ship further because of the facehugger incident. I also think that Newts family didn't investigate the derelict ship thoroughly either once they found the eggs. That is probably why the Prometheus is not found or it is obliterated. It looks as though we may have been the Xenomorph beginnings or transformation/evolution. Can't wait to find out though.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 9:38 PMi think that the space jokey is a roose. IF ANYTHING HES A BAD BIT OF SCULPTURE /graphix by giger n co however the idea that the crew go throw a worm hole get back to a primordial earth and have to start the whole nasty dark story of the human race is prometheun enough surly if a god like alien wanted to punish humanity he would get us to do it all over again i.e. all the wars, violence incompetant economics, starvation, holocaust etc, etc, lol infact the film could be a really kind of black humor sucker punch like planet of the apes with charlton heston making a guest appearence ;his lines would be not a bloody again in a kind of wimpish mockery of a brian glover lol... i dont mean to make fun of the film but surely the aliens might just turn round and tell the humans to piss off and wet themselves silly riotiously screaming ha fooled you you bunch of pea brained pond life dna - or was that red dwarf ?-my favourite is dark star by jon carpenter the greatest filmakr of all time !

MemberOvomorphMar-23-2012 4:47 AMThen we'll find out that the dead SJ in the Derelict IS the figure we've seen in the trailer, just before his death he wanted to lure more species/humans to that planet. Kind of a "Dead man's switch" type thing, if he dies, he'll try taking everything with him?? But then obviously, the Nostromo find something even worse. . .
