Humans created specifically to later be 'bred' with the Aliens?

Hi, My first post. Apologies if this has been said before... It seems we have establihsed that the SJs had a hand in the development of humans on Earth. What if this was done specifically with a view to humans, in the future, being the prime/ ultimate target for the ALIEN face-hugger to impregenate/ breed with (for an as yet unknown reason, but say to create a super type of ALIEN). Easy to come up with a million WHAT-IFs, I know! Comments/ thoughts? Melk

It's quite the first theory that saw the day, SJs would have created the humans, then they would use them to breed the aliens and use them as bio weapons on other planets.

I quite like this theory...but since Ridley seems to want to veer away from too much (if any) imagery of the very familiar 'human-xenomorph' hybrid, then I'm not sure this will be his angle. Interesting notion though.

Well, I've always wondered why the face-hugger is a perfect fit for the human head.

1) the Sjs created humans to be hosts ..and they failed ... 2)their megaweapon tried to kill a woman and a cat ..and failed ... 3)but the SJ was killed by his won megaweapon .... 4)and sent a warning signal that no one of his race received ... 5) their race is almost extinct now ( with no surprises ) 6) the get fused when they sit on a chair 7) they have an exoskeleton with a stopid trunk ... 8) they did made dangerous eggs without a lock Can be that the Space Jockey will be played by Rowan Atkinson ?

When you put it like that, the 'Spacejockey's are more to be pity'd than feared, lol.

I hope the first sample they obtained was from Raquel Welch !!!

I kinda like this idea, but it got me thinking... What if humans aren't the only species making the pilgrimage to the "origin" planet in Prometheus.

Quote: What if humans aren't the only species making the pilgrimage to the "origin" planet in Prometheus. As mentioned before on my posts I believe that humans are just one among many races that are summoned to come back to the origin planet as soon as they develop enough technology to do so. Not only that, I believe that SJs were one of those races: a race that has come to the origin planet thousands or millions of years ago with the same purpose (all the races would have been engineered by still another race).

Additionally, I believe (speculate) that we will understand by the end of Prometheus that the crashed derelict on Alien was the outcome of the SJs trying to steal the technology of "The Gods" a long time ago. This understanding should come only implicitly in Prometheus through watching what happens to the Humans when they try to do the same. (This would comply with the perspective that Prometheus is not a direct prequel but refers to some of the elements in Alien)

Baldas, I think you might be on to something.

Ever consider that the pilot of the Derelict was pregnant with a xenoparacite when they got in the chair. Perhaps there is no facehugger in the lifecycle when one is infected by a form of cellular engineering nanites. It adapts to the reproductive system of it's host and creates a hybrid embryo. Easier when the victiim is a female of a species that shares our reproductive cycle but where there is a will there is a way.

i think xeno's were bred to eradicate humans cuz the jockey's created us so they also needed a way to destroy us as well...for whatever the reason may be, im not sure

There are much easier ways to do that without utilizing hostile parasitic complex organisms. Tweak the Ozone and the right radiation renders males sterile. Viral and bacterial infections can be engineered specific to it's selected host organism. Less encroaching on an indigenous biosphere.

As someone said before and IMO, the Egyptian goddess Nut is the key to what the ship is. A birth machine to fertilize planets with life. For what ultimate purpose or how...who knows? HR's image was influenced by Egyptian murals and I think that is why he is painting murals for Prometheus. He is creating the mythological murals for Ridley like he did in this image. I think maybe this movie will have very little to do with the Xenos and more to do with the birthing machine that this derelict ship could be. That's why I also think there are lots of differents ships and the one we see in Prometheus may not be the same one as in Alien. Many different ships with different species to seed planets? Who knows...just a theory. I think this image might be very important though

The facehugger is a biological cryo-embryonic storage device with a dormant engineer egg that requires a host life to revive the dieing species. The derelicts was crashed in an attempt to prevent resulting offspring from getting to the SJ home world. The message was a warning to their own kind to stay away this planet is a trap. Just a Thought!

yea i totatlly agree with you that there are easier and less confrontational ways to eradicate humans....but thats too scientific for a big hollywood movie lol. I mean look at all the other terrible aliens battling on earth movies...all of which make no sense to be doing either.
