MemberOvomorph01/5/2012At 25 seconds into the trailer, when we see the expedition driving off, you can see what looks like two manmade (or engineermade) walls left and right, with an opening through the middle to what imediately looks like a hill - BUT could also be seen to be manmade too....

I say the 'walls' look manmade because there are clear 90 degree edges to the left and right edges of both walls. Although the hill in the middle could be just that - a hill - it COULD be a structure too....

MemberOvomorph01/5/2012I would guess it's just scenery for the planet rather than anything significant.

MemberOvomorph01/5/2012It's too obviously out of place in the 'valley' they're in to be just a feature - plus it being framed dead centre implies they're heading straight for it. I know the walls aren't made of straight lines and are 'curvy' - but so are a lot of the structures made by the engineer types.

It's mainly the 90 degree corner wall section, just to the left of centre of frame (that has a highlight on), that really suggest an opening in a huge wall that is circling the central hill/structure....
...maybe... ;)

MemberOvomorph01/5/2012Yes we did already talk about that ..it looks like a sort of temple with a walls curtain ...also its strange but you see it better in the leaked trailer
there is also a Giger draw that resemble that temple "head" alot

MemberOvomorph01/5/2012What's more interesting to me is counting the expedition members you are seeing. There are two passengers on the tracked vehicle on the left. If there are two on the other atv on the right that makes it four. Assuming that there are at least two in the armored personel carrier on the far left that brings the total to six. We've only seen the three outside on their return trip. If something were chasing them the two ATV's would be in the lead with the APC providing cover in the back. Is that accounting for everyone?

MemberOvomorph01/5/2012yes snorky is right ... there is an inside shoot of an APC and there are 4 people there ( shaw included ) ..plus someone must drive ... We dont know if the other APC go with them or not ...we see the cockipt closing but its facing the wrong direction ...can be just an automatic movement when the hangar door get open ( or maybe it really get ready to leave )
since they return only with the 2 ATV and 1 APC we can agree that the other OR never leavead the hangar OR it remained there with some crew ( red scanning laser crew ? )
so or they leave in 9-10 people OR in 14-15 ( more or less lol )
the total cast is of 15-16 prople and add that probably Vickers and JAnek remain on board

MemberXenomorph01/5/2012Hey Guys don't forget there are supposed to be Mercenaries on this expedition so there are probably several more people we don't see in the trailer but will be in the movie.

MemberXenomorph01/5/2012I'm betting the ampule room is at the hill where they are heading to because the trailer shows what looks like a road back to the ship. Could be them hauling ass back because there's a serious issue at hand

MemberXenomorph01/5/2012Here I grabbed a screenie of them returning to the ship. All I can assume with limited footage is the APC is clearly ahead of the ATV's hauling ass back to the Prometheus. My guess would be they hit the ampule room and someone got gassed inside the helmet.

MemberXenomorph01/5/2012You know what those look more like 2 APC's trailing something bigger in front. I scrolled up and the tail lights on the back of the APC caught my eye so I scrolled down and the two trailing don't look liek ATV's because I dont' see any tail lights on the ones up at the top of the post.

MemberOvomorph01/11/2012Not sure if this has been mentioned before but if you watch the third scene of the trailer, in the hanger I noticed some damage to the windscreen of APC. Must mean the two large vehicles make it back. check out image below.

MemberOvomorph01/11/2012I find it curious that explorers would bring a flame thrower with them. Had something already happened that made them think they would need that?

Some of the leaked scripts mentioned two expeditions.
They are on the second planet & expecting threat or danger of some kind after the exploration of the strange temple on the first planet.
Another version of the script mentioned how the humans are double-crossed and they are mighty pissed at the Aliens/Egr/SJ, and they are going back to wipe out the ..."monstrosity."
