they chose to release these images for a reason - they ask more questions than they answer.

a thing called "BIOFORMER" in liquid form.
From the supposed leaked plot...which is pretty much sounding pretty dead bang on the money right now....
Investigating the urns, David discovers that they contain the genetic material for thousands of species within a viscous liquid called BIOFORMER which can rewrite any living organism on a cellular level. Basically, possession of the substance gives its owner the power to create life.
So the Urns and The Eggs are 2 100% completely different things in and of themselves, but My Personal opinion is that everyone is seeing the urns, and calling them eggs, or even the Growers chopped of head which IMO is rediculous, and when what they really are is the urns opened up and tilted onto one side so that the crew members can access/examine the BIOFORMER liquid inside.
That's Just My "Whacko Crazy" Opinion though, I could accept being wrong here.

MemberOvomorph12/3/2011Pretty symmetrical to be a rock and it looks like it has flaps around an open top. I vote egg.

MemberOvomorph12/3/2011I think its a broken urn. If you look in the background of the full image, you can see a few that are smashed/broken. Plus it doesn't have the texture of an egg, or the correct size.
Slight side note: Anyone think that David's bag looks a little...camp? Haha!

I don't want to come across as rude or something else, but don't you think that analizing every single bit of information that is given would eventually spoil all the thrill and excitement? when april comes you will possibly know the bigger extent of the plot and whatever there would be .
I am going to stop here cause I don't wanna be spoiled. I think that i already know too much.

Completely agree with you, it would not be desirable to know too much, because interest will fall. I only want to see an original trailer and then to wait summer.

MemberOvomorph12/4/2011i think that we really know nothing or almost nothing , there is so much speculation that everything can be right or wrong ..but if there is something in a picture is difficult to look away ...

MemberOvomorph12/7/2011i doubt its an egg based on the height alone. the alien eggs are wider & taller than that, almost the size of those urns in the picture. and when you compare that with the urns around it, david standing right next to it, its way too small. i think its just the way the dirt is shaped. david is practically standing right next to it and the "egg" looks like the size of peanut next to him.
look at pictures of ripley & kane standing next to the eggs, they really stand out & are quite obvious as to what they are, but this picture does not express that at all in my opinion.

MemberOvomorph12/8/2011It could be decayed egg, it could be rocks, it could be nothing at all ....... it also appears to be of the same position where the girls are examinning the object in another picture; very interesting
