Venom 2 is currently filming and director Andy Serkis just recently sat down with Digital Spy to discuss the highly anticipated, Tom Hardy led sequel. During the interview, Serkis teases a thrilling shoot despite not being able to reveal any significant details yet:

Well, you know, I really can't talk too much about it – I know, boring – but we're 40 days into the shoot and it's really thrilling. We've got the magnificent Tom Hardy, who's obviously at the center of it, and we sort of see a deepening of the relationship between him and obviously there's a nemesis character and... that's all I can say.
Venom 2 will introduce audiences to the deranged Venom spawn Carnage as the film's primary antagonist and what's even better - Woody Harrelson will be playing the host of Carnage - Cletus Kasady! The fact that Serkis teases a thrilling shoot is to be expected given this information!
Tom Hardy is reprising his role as Eddie Brock / Venom, Michelle Williams will play Eddie's wife Anne and Naomie Harris will play the role of Shriek!
Unlike the first Venom movie which earned itself a PG-13 rating, the sequel is aiming for a hard R-rating.
With only 40 days into the shoot at the time of writing this article, expect lots more news to flood the internet concerning Venom 2 over the next few months!
