Unlike the agile, nimble, more slender build of Peter Parker's Spider-Man, Eddie Brock's VENOM is a much larger, more intimidating specimen. To prepare for the role of the roided-up Symbiote anti-hero, Tom Hardy has been seen training hard with MMA fighter Nathan Jones and weight trainer Mark Mene to bring his skill and physique up to par with what fans expect from the gritty Spider-Man spin-off. Fans will be extremely pleased to know that Hardy is preparing to bring Venom to the silver screen in a dignifying and comic-accurate way. His trainer was recently quoted as saying:
What the world is going to see is one of the darkest, most powerful supervillains that Marvel has ever created. It’s going to be carnage.
