Boba Fett? Boba Fett! That's right Fett Fans, the galaxy's most feared bounty hunter was referenced in the latest Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer! Guaranteed, many of you missed this reference upon viewing the trailer for the first time, maybe even the second or third. But after re-watching and dissecting each scene, you'll notice that there is one cut-scene which features a very iconic symbol known throughout Star Wars lore - the mark of the Mandalorian.

Yes, in the cut-scene snapped below, courtesy of fan-site Boba Fett Fan Club, you can clearly see the Mandalorian symbol displayed in the top center of the screen. This symbol represents an ancient and powerful race of elite warriors - their armor and weaponry rival that of the Jedi's own lightsaber. Boba Fett and his father, Jango Fett both sported Mandalorian armor. This is an obvious reference to the Mandalorians, but we assume it also may reference Boba Fett himself:

So does this mean Boba Fett is in The Force Awakens? Hard to say, considering if he were alive, he would be roughly 66 years old. Moviepilot put out an article back in May claiming that Max von Sydow was cast to play a weathered / cyborg Boba Fett in the film, claiming that Boba Fett had numerous cybernetic repairs done to his body following the escape from the Sarlacc pit - however since then Moviepilot have removed their article and little, to no other sources have backed the claim.
It's uncertain whether or not Boba Fett or another Bounty Hunter like him will be featured in The Force Awakens at all, but the presence of this symbol is no conicidence. If anything, we may see Mandalorians in action!
