With less than a month to go before Star Wars, Episode VIII: The Last Jedi explodes onto the big screen the television marketing campaign is in full force, with each new, bite-sized TV spot offering glimpses of unseen footage to keep the fans interest peaked, with just enough action and enough of John William's classic score to keep general audiences hungry enough to want to purchase tickets for this years annual holiday cinema event - the next Star Wars movie. Labelled Heroes the latest TV Spot shifts its focus between that of Rey, Finn, and Poe; the heroes of Star Wars' sequel trilogy.
Sadly there is nothing exceptionally new enough in this new TV spot to incite any new speculation or theories. While TV spots do keep the movie in the public eye, they also run the risk of oversaturating audiences with recycled imagery already seen countless times beforehand. Hopefully in the coming week or two Lucasfilm will release one last trailer, with enough new content to excite new interest in the movie, potentially improving the movies open weekend figures but without giving too much away about the elements of the movie we don't know yet.
