It appears the official title for the upcoming eighth Star Wars saga film could in fact be titled Star Wars: Forces of Destiny! LucasFilm and Disney reportedly submitted a trademark filing with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for "Star Wars: Forces of Destiny". The list of licensed goods present in the trademark filing ranges from various forms of merchandise all the way to film rights.
The title for Star Wars Episode 8 has not yet been officially announced, but evidence of Disney and LucasFilm having begun registering trademarks for this specific title tagline lends credibility that "Forces of Destiny" could be the film's official title.
