We've got some terrible news to bing you today. Kenny Baker, who played R2-D2 in the Star Wars movies, has died at the age of 83.
Not only did Mr. Baker bring to life arguable the most famous robot of all time, but he also loved and respected his fans, regularly appearing at conventions and meet and greet events. I personally met him twice and I found him to be one of the sweetest and kindest celebrities you could ever encounter.
Rest in peace Kenny Baker, and thanks for all the fond memories.
