A lot of fans still aren't sold the concept of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Whilst Modern Warfare 2 and Ghosts both had brief sections set in outer space, this is the first time that the series has gone full on futuristic sci-fi. And even if you do feel that this is too much of a radical departure from the rest of the COD games, keep in mind that despite being the fourth bestselling video game franchise of all time (250 million copies worldwide), the sales of recent games had been decreasing more and more as the years went by, so perhaps a full reinvention was needed.
At the San Diego Comic-Con, publisher Activision released some new promotional videos for Infinite Warfare, and to be honest, space battles have never looked so much fun. Check them out along with the original announcement video below.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare lands on November 4 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and it will come bundled with a remastered edition of 2007's Modern Warfare.
