Originally the Mad Max video game was meant to accompany the release of Mad Max: Fury Road, but during development the game was reset and subsequently delayed. Originally the game was to be available for current and next gen systems, but when its development was reset and its design reassessed developers Avalanche Studios cancelled production on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, citing hardware restrictions as the main reason for the cancellation.
Due for release in September 2015 Mad Max the videogame allows you to take control of the anti-hero after he has been captured and stripped of everything he owns, including the MFP Pursuit Special, and he is left to wander the 'Big Nothing'; an unmapped volatile wasteland. As Max you must survive and construct a new vehcile in a bid to track down the marauders whom captured you and reclaim your prized car.
