The Indiana Jones films are noted for their iconic scores set to thrilling action set pieces. Indiana Jones 5 will apparently be no different. At the red carpet for the American Film Institute Life Achievement award gala, Williams was interviewed by a reporter for access Hollywood and described some details of his upcoming projects.
This is extremely exciting news for several reasons. John Williams has won a plethora of awards for his movie scores over his career. The Indiana Jones films have earned Academy Awards, BAFTA recognition, and Golden Globes as well. His scores are instantly recognizable and absorb the viewer into the world of the narrative.
Indiana Jones 5 will release July 19, 2019. The film will feature the return of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. The movie will also be directed by Steven Spielberg. Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall will also return to produce. The film does not currently have a title.
