Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the latest in the Jurassic Park adventure and is set to be released in mid-2018. The fifth instalment of the science fiction adventure series is set to show what happened to the dinosaurs and the dangers facing them after the demise of the Jurassic World theme park on Isla Nebula. A volcanic eruption has put their existence under threat and people are trying to save them. So we know the story, but what else is there to know about the latest instalment?

The director of Fallen Kingdom is J.A Bayona and he was also responsible for directing great films such as The Orphanage, The Impossible and A Monster Calls. This talented man also once directed an episode of Showtime’s British-American horror drama television series Penny Dreadful. The show was broadcast for 3 seasons in total.

The film is being produced by the great Steven Spielberg, who was responsible for directing Jurassic Park. Colin Trevorrow is involved in the production too, and is also on the writing team.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be based on the concepts in the original Jurassic Park novels that were written by the late Michael Critchton.

There have already been video slot games based on both Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. They’ve been hugely successful at renowned online casinos like Unibet, and it’s very likely that a slot machine on the Fallen Kingdom will appear after its release.

The official UK release date is the 8th of June 2018. However, the fans in the USA have to wait until the 22nd of the same month to watch the fifth instalment of the Jurassic Park series, while France gets the movie first on the 6th of June.

The film features some great actors and actresses. Chris Pratt will play a Navy veteran and former dinosaur trainer, Bryce Dallas Howard is taking on the role of Claire Dearing, the former manager of the Jurassic World Park. B . D. Wong is Dr Henry Wu who is the former park head geneticist and Jeff Goldblum stars as Dr. Ian Malcom, a chaos theory expert.

It’s said that one of the favourite dinosaurs from the original Jurassic Park film is returning, the Dilophosauras, which has a penchant for squirting noxious goo in the face of its enemies.

These are just some of the fun and interesting facts about this keenly awaited film, which is predicted to be a huge success worldwide. This is in spite of strong competition coming from other releases like The Incredibles 2 which is planned to be released the week before, as well as The Purge: The Island and Tag and Barbie to be seen just after. The information and details gained by folks ‘in the know’ confirm the Fallen Kingdom will not only impress in terms of story line and actors, but in terms of graphics and video technology; which when all brought together makes for one of the best action packed films in 2018.
