With the third episode of HBO's chilling adaptation of The Last Of Us airing tomorrow night, it has been announced that the Warner Media streaming giant has already ordered a second season of the show following its overwhelmingly positive reception!

Much like the game's plot line which was split up into 2 parts, so will the show - Season 1 focusing on The Last Of Us Part 1 and Season 2 focusing on Part 2.
Nearly 5 million people tuned into the first episode of The Last Of Us when it debuted on HBO nearly 3 weeks ago and interest has only grown since, with episode 2 boosting that streaming figure by an extra 20%! Paired with the positive critic reactions, it's no surprise HBO are eager to invest in a second season so early into the first one.
The third episode drops tomorrow night exclusively on HBO with new episodes airing every Sunday. There are 9 episodes in total for Season 1.
