March 17th will see the digital release of Microsoft and 343 Industries live-action series set within the Halo universe. Halo Nightfall, produced by Prometheus director Sir Ridley Scott and starring Mike Colter as UNSC manhunter Locke will air on the Halo Channel, available on Xbox One, Windows 8.1 and the Windows Phone, and to players whom own Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Reportedly, the series, which is set before the events of the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians of which Locke will be a key character, will also be released on to DVD and Blu-Ray after its initial digital run, with all episodes being edited together into a feature length movie. This unabridged Halo Nightfall will be available to rent or buy upon its release from all good stockists and via video-on-demand services.
