YIN vs. YANG, Cannot have one without the other! How Spider-Man is too crucial to be ignored for Venom

 For all those who are anticipating the upcoming Venom film starring Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road, The Dark Knight Rises, The Revenant), many fans are on the fence about how this film will turn out. It has the opportunity to be phenomenal, though it also could burn to the ground in a blinding blaze of shear disappointment.  

Unfortunately, Sony may be missing something paramount with making this movie. Though Venom has become extremely popular in comics and has really become his own unique character, there is still something missing. There is one dire person you cannot ignore if you are going to make a proper homage to Venom. You need to address his predecessor; the wondrous web-slinger himself, Spider-Man. 

Now according to previous news, Venom will be in the same REALITY as Spider-Man Homecoming, whatever that means. An educated guess presumes that most likely this film may take place farther down the time-line in the future; where Spider-Man has grown up, experienced the Symbiote and rejected it and thus Venom being created. This could mean that this film may not be the birth of Venom, but that Venom has already been around for a while and we are seeing what he has been doing as the violent anti-hero. This would make sense according to the comics, due to Carnage being the primary antagonist for the film. Carnage was born long after Venom was created and wreaking havoc for Spider-Man; therefore the continuity would work well. If this is indeed the case, we would most likely  see fragments of Venom's past throughout the film explaining how he got to where he is now. Perhaps it will even show the Symbiote's past, including it's home world, when it was connected to Spider-Man and lastly Venom's eventual creation.

To give a tidbit of info on the beginnings of Venom; before he was created, the Symbiote had bonded with Peter Parker and became known as the black suited Spider-Man or 'Symbiote' Spider-Man. When the two bonded, the Symbiote replicated many of Peter's powers which it bestowed later onto Eddie Brock once becoming Venom.
