Yesterday it was revealed that Breaking Bad and Godzilla (2014) mega-talent, Bryan Cranston, will be playing Zordon in the upcoming Power Rangers.
(It's worth noting this is not Cranston's first foray into the series. He voiced the monster "Skizzard" in the show's first season.)
Today, Saban and Lionsgate unveils the first teaser poster with the vastly effective tagline, "Together We Are More." It pretty much epitomizes Power Rangers' core themes of teamwork and friendship.
The poster silhouettes the five heroes and their car against a glowing sky. Above them is a cluster of stars that take form of the new "bolt" seen in the film's new logo. (Below)
It's certainly a teaser poster and not much more, but effective nonetheless. The atmosphere it's going for is unlike anything we've seen from the franchise, but the tagline certainly hits home.
What do you think of the new teaser poster? What kind of film do you think it evokes? Do you get a Power Rangers vibe from it? Tell us in the comments below.
