In 1975, a cheesy sci-fi dinosaur movie came to light. Based off a novel by Sir Edgar Rice Burroughs, The Land That Time Forgot followed a group of people who after a sries of events are stranded on a lost land populated by dangerous and hungry dinosaur props.
While the dinosaurs are hardly like the ones on they poster, they do look rather interesting. Two of the dinosaurs that appear are the dreaded Allosaurus and the large Triceratops. Pterodactyls make an appearance but are very bad looking props that seem to have no movement at all. In some parts you can even see the strings!
This film was rather successful and helmed a few sequels, including The People That Time Forgot and At The Earth's Core. This film is available on a two-sided disk from Metro Goldwyn Mayer with The People That Time Forgot.
