The highly anticipated sequel to this past year's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Episode VII has officially begun casting in London! According to a new casting call, filming will commence this month and the Studio is currently on the hunt for various voice acors and extras.
"Star Wars: Episode VIII" is now officially casting extras, featured background actors, photo-doubles, and stand-ins. Filming will get underway this month at the Pinewood Studios in London, England later this month. Day-player speaking roles are also being cast throughout shooting. Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Rian Johnson is directing "Star Wars: Episode VIII" from a screenplay that he wrote himself. Eight-time Academy Award nominee Kathleen Kennedy is overseeing production for Lucasfilm.
