The last time we caught a glimpse of the Tetsuya Nomura Play Arts Kai Variant Batman figure was this past February at Toy Fair in New York. Now, Square Enix have released an official batch of images for the upcoming figure.
For those who don't know, Tetsuya Nomura is famed for his character designs in the Final Fantasy gaming series. This Batman variant figure, which Nomura designed, will feature plenty of swap-out pieces including hands, arm pieces, side arm pieces, thigh pieces, and shin pieces.
The figure will be painted in an eye-catching glossy black finish with deep red highlights.
Look for it to be released this July. You can pre-order it now from HobbyLink Japan for $175.83.
While this unique design may not be for everyone, we feel it has a very Elseworld look to it and believe it will make a very interesting addition to any Batman collection!
