Alright, if you guys remember James Cameron not too long ago had a Reddit AMA interview. While the interview was quite insightful, for Cameron talked about Avatar sequels and of course, the status of the script, there was something influential as well that took place during the interview. Thanks to The Daily Plot for the heads up.
Amishbob, a user, asked James Cameron the following. And check this out how this simple comment caused the director to change his new script.
I've been wondering where the idea to ALWAYS have a character yell "Go, go go!" in your movies came from. Did it start as a conscious thing or did you notice it later and just continue on?
And here what James Cameron typed in response to Amishbob's question above:
"it must just be the way I talk! In fact I just wrote a scene yesterday where a character says 'Go Go Go!’ The page is open on my computer right now."
According to Cameron, he spoke like that also in his underwater dive, for if "something is really important, you say it three times."
No matter what the script says, because we know that Cameron delivers. But, the man thought about the comment and decided to get rid of that line from his script.
"I'm going to change that scene now. Nobody wants to be predictable."
