The third instalment in Captain America's trilogy just keeps getting more and more tantalising - first was the news that Winter Soldier directors Anthony and Joe Russo would be returning to helm the project, then came the awesome news that star Chris Evans would star "against" his Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr in a big screen adaptation of the Civil War storyline, then it is announced only recently that Chadwick Boseman as the uber-popular Marvel superhero Black Panther would appear in the movie - surely things cannot get any better?
Think again; Spanish born German actor Daniel Bruhl, seen recently in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and opposite Thor star Chris Hemsworth in Ron Howards Formula 1 biopic Rush, has joined the cast of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel have announced. His role is yet to be announced, but speculation is rife that he may be cast in role of the villain Baron Zemo (pictured below), probably based on Bruhl's awesome performance as Frederik Zoller in 2009's Inglourious Basterds, his breakout role.
