Ridley Scott's 25th anniversary version of the classic film Blade Runner, named 'Blade Runner: The Final Cut', will be released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2015.
The 2007 re-edit is the definitive version of Scott's sci-fi classic, Blade Runner, after he was given full artistic control over the movie. Previous edits were in 1992, when Scott approved the release of the 'Director's Cut' of the film, which removed Ford's voiceovers, the "happy ending" and added the Unicorn dream sequence. Scott even went so far as to re-shoot Zhora's death scene with actress Joanna Cassidy, replacing the stunt double that was in the original.
