Starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, Produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Denis Villeneuve Blade Runner 2049 is the eagerly awaited sequel to the 1982 classic neo-noir science fiction thriller Blade Runner which saw Ford star as Rick Deckard, a police officer tasked with hunting down and terminating Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), an awry Nexus 6 Replicant - a bio-engineered humanoid developed and built by the Tyrell Corporation.
Set thirty years after the original movie K (Gosling), an LAPD Blade Runner discovers a dark secret that could plunge humanity into chaos, a secret that leads him to seek out Deckard, who has been in hiding since facing off against the deadly replicant Roy Batty. Blade Runner 2049 also stars Jared Leto and Dave Bautista.
