Ben Affleck now unlikely to play Batman in Matt Reeve's 'The Batman' movie!

It appears Matt Reeves is looking to replace Ben Affleck as Batman in his upcoming solo Batman movie titled simply "The Batman", according to a fresh report by Variety. Apparently Reeves is looking to re-cast Batman following Justice League's underwhelming box office returns, failure to impress critics and due to Ben Affleck's own hopes to abandon the character - despite most fans actually enjoying his portrayal as the caped crusader.

While Ben Affleck is expected to appear as Batman in a standalone Flash movie, it is highly unlikely he will don the cape and cowl in Matt Reeves’ planned standalone Batman movie. The director is said to want to cast the role with fresh talent, according to sources.
