In the first two weeks of The Book of Boba Fett's debut on the Disney Plus streaming platform, it failed to overtake The Mandalorian in terms of audience demand metrics. According to new data collected by Parrot Analytics and submitted to Insider, audience demand for The Mandalorian during its first 11 days beat The Book of Boba Fett by a staggering 75.5% in the United States!
Prior to their respective release dates, both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett scored similar audience demand leading up to their debuts however where The Mandalorian took off after its debut, The Book of Boba Fett failed to gain the same kind of traction. The Mandalorian also launched on the Disney Plus platform back in 2019 when the service was still relatively new and not as globally available as it is now.
It will be interesting to see how The Book of Boba Fett continues to play out and if the show can gain additional viewership as the season continues. A more accurate comparison will be available after the series' finale on February 9th.
The Book of Boba Fett is currently streaming on Disney Plus and Chapter 3 is now available to watch!
Meanwhile The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently filming and will likely debut in the Fall!
