NECA continues to kick off 2015 with plenty of awesomeness in the form of their upcoming Pacific Rim 7" Ultra Deluxe Otachi Pacific Rim figure! One fans have been wanting to add to their Kaiju army since the line was announced, Otachi will feature over 30-points of articulation, including a fully articulated tail! The figure measures a very impressive 18" long and comes complete with an acid spitting effect, and even a special surprise in the form of a Baby Otachi figure!

We love Pacific Rim; it’s true. One of the most giddying moments at SDCC 2014 was when Guillermo del Toro swung by the NECA booth to check out our newly revealed Otachi prototype. And it was awesome to save a little surprise until last month, when we revealed in the downloadable Pacific Rim Visual Guide that the figure comes with a terribly cute Baby Otachi figure.
So with about a month until Otachi ships, let’s take a look at the final model and packaging!
Our newest boxed, ultra-deluxe kaiju action figure is the hotly anticipated, fan-demanded Otachi. One of the most deadly Category IV kaiju, Otachi is capable of flight, and can spit an acid corrosive enough to melt everything from office buildings to the armor of a Jaeger!
This massive, extra-detailed figure measures nearly 18″ long and almost 7″ tall, and is to scale with our Jaeger action figures. It features over 30 points of articulation, including a fully articulated tail, plus an interchangeable tongue that can be removed to equip a sculpted “acid spitting” effect, and a bonus “Baby Otachi” figure.
