7 New and Soon-to-be Extinct Netflix Sci-Fi Shows to Watch This September

We’re half-way through September and there’s tons of Movies and TV Shows have arrived on Netflix.

Before the autumn begins, you’ll have plenty in your plate to digest as Netflix is bring some of the new shows but at the same time you’ll have to say farewell to some of the old ones.

The Halloween season is nearing too, therefore in this guide I’ll be discussing some of the new Sci-Fi Shows entering Netflix (to celebrate Halloween) and some of the soon-to-be-extinct shows/movies.

Let’s begin!

1. Freaks – You’re One of Us

This German-language super hero movie has just landed Netflix on 2nd September. It seems to be a good movie where a waitress (Wendy) soon discovers she has superpowers.

She meets two other people who have superpowers too but having different abilities. Government agents and other parties are after them to use their superpowers for their own good. It’s up to these three superheroes to decide how they want to use their powers.

In most Netflix regions you won’t find this Movie, so its better to NordVPN with Netflix and unblock American library that contains this title.

2. Away

Hillary Swank returns to Netflix in an amazing drama series ‘Away’ where she is tasked with the first manned mission to Mars. Even though this event may be possible in our near future, but since it deals with a lot of science and technology, we have classified as science fiction.

In this TV series, Emma Green (Hillary Swank) encounters all sorts of problems during her mission to mars. At the meantime, her husband and daughter has their own problems back on the earth.

It has 6.6 IMDB ratings so far, but its likely to improve from here onwards as more people gets to know about it. This TV Series has entered Netflix library on 4th of September.

3. The Good Place

The Good Place Season 4 will return on Netflix 26th September. You might be wondering why an American comedy is doing in the list? Well, in this season you will find the core group of Elanor, Chidi, Tahani, and others are tasked with performing an afterlife experiment where humans undergo moral developments.

The first three seasons of The Good Place are now available for streaming on Netflix. If you can’t wait for it to air on 26th September on Netflix, you watch the Season 4 on NBC as it was first aired on it last year.

4. Train to Busan

This Sci-Fi Movie is soon-to-be-extinct this September. This is a Korean horror movie that has tons of suspense and excitement that tells you about the zombie stories.

The story revolves around a father who is taking her daughter for a birthday trip to see her mother. When the outbreak of Zombies happen, it forces them to change their plans and to seek the only city that is safe in Korea i.e. Busan. The train is about leave for Busan and it is their priority to be on the train.

5. Jurassic Park

The blockbuster Sci-Fi movie Jurassic Park and its two other sequel movies will be removed from Netflix by the end of September.

Stephen Spielberg’s iconic dinosaur movie is based on Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel by the same name where the park is created by the name of Jurassic Park where scientists have somehow found a way to clone dinosaurs.

If you’re in to the trilogy of Jurassic Park movies, you can binge-watch it before October.

6. Starship Troopers

Starship Troopers is an American Science Fiction movie will leave Netflix by the end of September. This is a classic movie where humans are at war against bug-like aliens.

Its so strange to note that this movie just arrived on Netflix in June and is leaving so soon. The movie is directed by Paul Verhoeven where interplanetary war is about to break out.

The aliens have all types of high-tech weapons and gadgets but filled with quite a lot of action.

7. Resident Evil: Afterlife

The last Netflix title that you need to watch right now before it gets removed from its library by the end of September, is Resident Evil: Afterlife.

It’s a zombie-horror action movie where Alice is searching for the remaining survivors after the outbreak of T-virus. Chris Redfield was also featured for the first time in the movie as it is the primary character from the video games and teams up with Alice.

It is the 4th movie of the all-time six movie sequel which will be removed shortly.
