Good: This movie looks great. The giant mechs look cool and so do the daikaiju. There are also some fun characters on the human side of things.
Bad: This story was told from the wrong point of view. The much more interesting character of Mako would have made a more compelling protagonist.
Conclusion: Entertaining giant monster movie that while not perfect, is still enjoyable.
