I enjoyed Pacific Rim, but I never went to see it because I thought it will be good movie, but because giant robots fighting monsters from another dimesion seemed somewhat appealing. The only reason I stuck in the the theater for rest so long is because for every clique decision being made, plot hole and things that quite frankly didn't make any sense, I was rewarded with a jaegar/kaiju battle. Still, I am never fond of of the Michael Bay approach.
